Grading Cork
For building fly rods, there are only 3 basic grades of cork:
•
Flor - this is the highest grade with the least amount
of filler. We sell REC AAA grade cork online.
•
AAA or Superior - this is an excellent grade used on
most of the better fly rods
•
A - although the lowest of these grades, it is very
good cork and will satisfy many builders
